Despite my usual disdain (Schnarfff!) for bad remakes of childhood favorites. I am on board for a remake of the Thundercats. The show was campy but good to begin with and I don’t feel that they have anything to lose in making a Thundercat’s Film. Search Engine Optimization Software

I found a couple of interesting pieces of Search Engine Optimization Software that I found on Amazon. The first is Traffic Seeker's which is an automated Search Engine Submission List in case you don't want to use a list like this one to manually submit your site.

I am much more interested in the second piece of Search Engine Optimization Software. The SEO Professional Tool Kit contains a built in HTML Code Editor for instant Web page analysis. I have no idea how effective it will be in the rapidly changing web environment but it would be nice if the keyword and keyword phrase frequency tool is better than using the one on Google Toolbar.

I love using the keyword analyzer on the Google Toolbar because it is very useful and effective but I would enjoy some bells and whistles. Mostly I am purchasing these products just to see how they work and write a couple of reviews on Amazon to promote my web store. If any of you have any experience with this Search Engine Optimization Software, please feel free to leave a comment and let us know what you think.

What is Pay Per Click?

A lot of beginning Web Marketers ask themselves, What is Pay Per Click? According to Google’s Web Definitions: “Online advertising payment model in which a business is charged everytime a user clicks through to its website from an online advertisment for that company.”

The best Pay Per Click Program is Google’s Adsense although I occasionally toss in some of Amazon's PPC programs. I would avoid most other PPC click services unless you do a lot of research. Pay Per Click services like Adbrite have a long history of defrauding customers of time and money.

In the past year, I have seen a big hit in Pay Per Click (PPC) revenue. It is partially because my keyword knowledge has declined and I haven’t done the research to rejuvenate them but also because of the recession and an increase in the web savvy of customers. Corporations have had less and less money to spend on advertising and conversions are down due to an increase in the average web user’s immunity to marketing and ads no matter how well hidden.

For this reason, PPC has become a supplement to my online income as I attempt to integrate more affiliate programs and direct online sales into my business plan. I am shifting towards a more direct retail model blended with all the aspects of web promotion and SEO/Blogging. Co-promotion and integration are the key ingredients of this new experiment.

Ethical Search Engine Optimization is a bunch of Baloney

According to the Search Engine Guide “Ethical Search Engine Optimization applies to SEO techniques, not to individual SEO practitioners. It's important to make this distinction between people and techniques. SEO practitioners may behave ethically (or what they believe is ethically) towards their clients. This does not mean that their practises are ethical or in anyone's ultimate interests but their own.”

In reality there is no such thing as Ethical Search Engine Optimization. To paraphrase Captain Jack Sparrow: There are only two certainties in life: What a man can do, and What a man can’t do. In short: Ethical Search Engine Optimization is defined as anything Google will let you get away with and not get delisted.

I tried playing fair once and it cost me millions. I am not saying that I have gone over to the dark side but the temptations are there. In Star Wars terms: I am a Anakin Skywalker just before he went bad. But I have been trained in the Dark Arts. The Dark Side is quicker, faster, more seductive but buyer beware: It’s nothing more than quick cash. If you want your website to be in it for the long term stick with the good side of SEO.

I Make Money Online

I Make Money Online but I am not going to lie to and tell you that it is fast and easy. Making Money online is a full-time job just like everything else. It is easy in the fact that you can do so sitting in your basement in a comfortable chair while you do laundry and listen to The Dark Knight in the background.

But the reality is that I work longer hours to make less money than I do at either of my other two jobs. I have one job as a Media and Promotion consultant, another as a part time retail associate (for the discount) and I also make money online as a Web Ninja.

There are ways to make a lot of money fast online but most of them are illicit and unless you are confident with computer coding, it is unlikely that you will be able to do so. Making money the honest way is tough but not impossible. As we all know, the internet is the last place for the little guy to make a buck and compete with the multinational corporations.

This website is a fun attempt to integrate all of the different means that I earn money online and I am happy to share these resources with all of you. Eventually, I will include a list of resources and ways to earn money online below.

Search Engine Submission Tips

Here are Ten Search Engine Submission Tips that you can consider as you begin to submit your site to the search engines. Start with Google and then move to the lesser Search engines like Yahoo, MSN and the Niche Search Engines. I usually only mess with Google but now that the game has changed, I might mess with some of the other engines as well.

Ten Search Engine Submission Tips

1. Submit and resubmit web pages only when necessary. Spamming the Search Engines won’t get you anywhere. You should never submit to any one Search Engine more than once a month.

2. Build quality links to your site pages from other well ranked sites on Google. Blog Carnivals are a great way to do this.

3. Provide Quality Content. Useful Content will not only be attractive to the search engines, it will also keep users on your site longer.

4. Make sure that you include your most important keywords appear in your title, meta tags and content.

5. Give away free stuff if you can. Everyone on the internet loves free stuff including me. I will eventually be creating a resource where you can find free stuff.

6. Youtube is probably the most important Search Engine on the internet besides Google itself: Use it, Master it, Conquer it.

7. Keep a track of your listings/ranking in Google and analyze it periodically. Some google tips on this:

Indexed Pages: To know which pages on your site are listed in the google and to see how they will appear to google searchers type site:www.yourdomainname.extn in the google search box.

Link Popularity: To keep a track of sites that link to you (and also see their google page rank), type link:www.yourdomainname.extn in the google search box.

8. Use keywords in the text area of each page. They are especially important at the beginning of sentences and higher up on the page.

9. Hire a Search Engine Optimization Expert to handle your search engine submissions.

10. When your business web site is launched, updated, or you write a free e-book, send a Press Release to the media, your clients, and friends and associates, too.

Search Engine Optimization Tools

Here is a list of my favorite SEO Tools. In my opinion these are the only tools that you will ever need for article based search engine optimization. I will create a resource for SEO via Web Design at a later date. For now I thought that I would start small and simple.

1. Google Keyword Suggestion is a great tool for helping you select keywords. You can either type in the topic you are writing about or the url to your website. I prefer to use the URL to my website. For example: The Keyword to this post is SEO Tools. The proper density for keyword usage varies but I would recommend repeating the keywords from your title in the first paragraph of your content.

2. Google Trends is a really great way to see what is hot this hour and is especially useful for news related topics and keywords. It also provides you with access to the top blogging, website, and news pages attached to that keyword. Studying how they have laid out their videos, alt tags, content, headers, and keywords can help you learn how to best optimize your website.

3. Google’s Blog Search is a great tool for bloggers. The Blog Search works the same as the image, video, or web search. If you can master the art of putting your content at the top of engine, you will maximize your traffic.

4. Google Analytics is another great tool for seeing where your traffic comes from and how successful your posts are.

5. Google Adwords also has some really cool options that can help you play around with the layout and content of your website to maximize your SEO.

6. Spy Fu is a great website for seeing the cost per click for various keywords.

7. My Search Engine Submission List has a lot of search engines with high page rank which is important. I recommend submitting you blog or website to the highest ranking directories as well as the ones who do not require a reciprocal link. Article-Based SEO can take you a long way but ultimately it is the links that you develop that will make or break your website’s page rank.

8. The Digital Points Forum is my favorite forum for SEO; It is a great website for webmasters and web publishers so I thought that I would toss it out there. Including your links in Forum posts can be another great way to bring traffic to your website. I have received thousands of visitors via IMDB which is an unlikely source of traffic.

SEO Link Building Tools

There are a lot of other great link building websites but there are my favorites. They are the ones have done the most good for me. Later on I will do post specifically on my link building practices.

1. Creating a Popular Squidoo Lens is not only a good way to create links for your blog it can also bring a lot of traffic to your blog if optimize your lens.

2. Flickr: I like to upload graphics that pertain to my website or blog post and then link to that post in the description.

3. Blog Carnivals are a great way to receive links to your content. They work a lot like an online magazine.

4. Myspace and Facebook remain powerful marketing tools if you know how to leverage them right. I will do a post later on about how to use these for success.

This post is for all of you who need a good Meta tag generator. I personally find meta tags to be completely irrelevant in New Web Order. I recently poked fun at the whole meta tag business with my meta tag experiment. After years of professional blogging, I have realized that Web Promotion is a heck of a lot more powerful than keyword stuffing.

However, I realize that some of you might be marketing in desolute and barbarian world of obsolete search engines like Yahoo et al. And so, here are the best Meta Tag generators that I have found.

101 Internet Marketing Tips (Part One)

Here are 101 Internet Marketing Tips that have helped me along the way to fame and glory. Many of them are obvious, some might be a bit dated but I will also be providing some of my own unique personal tips that I have used to become successful in Internet Marketing. The first set of tips are consist of the tips that I have found to be the most helpful although there are many more to come.

Internet Marketing Tips 1 – 10

1. Network!!! In this world it isn’t what you know it is who you know. In the very beginning it was my SEO skills and cracking Google’s Blogger Search Engine that put me in the map. But in the rapidly changing world of the internet, I would not have gotten very far without the friends I made in the industry.

2. Make the most of Google Trends and the Blogger Search Engine.

3. Include your most relevant keywords in the url of your blog/website.

4. Use Google’s Keyword Suggestion Tool.

5. Integrate and diversify your monetization, with advertising, affiliate programs like Amazon, with Keyword Marketing like Google Adsense, and online sales like Ecrater or Ebay.

6. Read this book!

7. Learn how to be sneaky and hide affiliate links like I did in tips 5 and 6.

8. Provide relevant affiliate links through thoughtful reviews or articles. Don’t spray and pray as I once I did. I used to just link to all kinds of stuff on Amazon. All it did was drive people away from my website with very few sales.

9. Check out my list of useful Affiliate Progams (to be published later).

10. Take a Technical Writing Course or read Technical Writing: Process and Product It will teach you everything you need to know about SEO and Keyword Marketing. You have to read between the lines, but thinking like a Technical Writer is the key to keyword success. At the very least, you will learn a trade in which you can make money with. I will provide a list of places where you can find Technical Writing Jobs very soon.

I hope that this list of Internet Marketing Tips has been helpful to you. This is only the beginning of my internet marketing school and but they will help get you started in the exciting and dangerous world of Internet Marketing. They have protected this Internet Ninja many a time.

Endless Garage Sale

I am the Garage Sale Ninja and I make money online. Welcome to the endless garage sale the latest project by one of your favorite web gurus. Having conquered the world of SEO and Web Promotion, I now tackle the final Art of making money online: Online Sales.

The mission of the endless Garage Sale is to have fun learning how the world of online sales works as well as sharing that information with you. I am attempting to integrate all forms of online money making: Retail, Affiliate Marketing, SEO and Keyword marketing.

I will also be starting a Wholesale Blog at some point to discuss the art of product sourcing which is something I know absolutely nothing about. It will be exciting to see if I can replicate the successes that I had in SEO, Blogging and Web Promotion. I am then hoping to focus my lack of attention span and actually make some real money and recognition in this world rather than bouncing around to the next thing.

Many things have changed since I went Ronin and this will be an interesting adventure.
